Benjamin has a lot of interests apart from his harp. He likes playing lots of sports and films like Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Men in Black, he likes Lego, toy soldiers, Scalextric, Hornby Trains, the list goes on and on, but his real love is perhaps motor cars.

During filming a short programme for BBC TV at the Wales Millennium Stadium in October 2006, Rupert Moon of WRU gave Benjamin the new 2007 season strip and ball. Grounds man Craig also granted Benjamin the rare privilege of running on to the hallowed turf!


Benjamin loves motor racing, in particular F1, his big hero being David Coulthard. Benjamin got this close to DC at the Goodwood Revival meeting in 2002 but did not get to speak to him.

If you have not been to the Revival Meeting - it is great, every one dresses up in 1950's style clothing and are entertained by the best of the machines from the 50's and 60's. There is a link to the web site on Benjamin's links page.
	But at the 2003 Goodwood Festival of Speed Benjamin not only got DC's autograph and helmet bag (DC still holding it in the photo), but Benjamin also managed to have a chat.

Le Bug Show, Francorchamps, Belgium - Summer 2002 During the summer of 2002 we took Benjamin to Spa Francorchamps F1 circuit for Le Bug Show and were even able to drive our 1959 Karmann Cabriolet round the race track. He is very interested about tanks so while in Belgium we also took him to the December 1944 Museum near Spa where he was dwarfed by a battle scarred Tiger Tank!



There are many stands in the trade areas, the Mercedes stand included DC's car, but unlike all the production cars this one was not for sale!

As well as racing (hill climb) the most modern vehicles older ones such as this McLaren are also put through their paces.
