Cancer Research UK Relay for life. Benjamin went along to play his harp for those taking part in the 24 hour event at the Filton WISE Campus, Nr Bristol.

Never touched a harp? Here’s your opportunity Classes on Celtic Harp and Triple Harp, Exhibition and Concert Experience the harp! Whole day for complete beginners or those who want to ‘start in the middle’ or you could just come and listen. Classes on the Celtic Harp and Welsh Triple Harp Relaxed atmosphere – Classes with Distinguished teachers An introduction to the History of the Harp and a small exhibition of historical harps Celtic harps will be provided for participants.

Gala Evening of Music & Poetry for Lovers of All Ages. The Borough Theatre, Abergavenny. Presented by Jeanette Massochi, the concert was hosted by singer and broadcaster Beverley Humphreys. Artists included Kate Woolveridge (Mezzo Soprano), Richard Allen (Tenor), Alison Pope (Music Theatre), Oliver Galletta (Bassoon), Jennifer Mu (Violin) and Benjamin (Harp). The evening was held to raise raise funds for the Abergavenny Eisteddfod, which takes place annually in the middle of June, and to give a flavour of the quality of competitors who take part in the Eisteddfod's evening concert.

Holocaust Memorial Day
National Commemoration Event.

"One Person Can make a Difference"
Benjamin has been invited to take part in the national commemoration event in 2006 which will take place at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff. For the first time since 27 January was designated as the UK's Holocaust Memorial Day, this date falls on a Friday which has implications for a number of faiths. Consequently the national event will take place on the evening of Thursday 26 January 2006.

Abergavenny Eisteddfod. Benjamin won the Under 25 Solo Instrument Class at the Abergavenny Eisteddfod. Harpist Ann Griffiths, Chairman of the Lady Llanover Society, which had sponsored the competition, reminded the audience of the 19th century harpist John Thomas, who won the silver harp at the Abergavenny Eisteddfod in 1838 at the tender age of 12 and went on to become harpist to Queen Victoria. "I think history was made tonight" said Ann Griffiths. "We have seen a star of the future." Other finalists, in their 20's, included bassoon, piano and xylophone players.

15/01/2005 Concert in aid of Tsunami Earthquake Appeal. Benjamin was invited to join Evensong in a wonderful evening of entertainment at St Augusta Church Hall, Rumney, Cardiff. Also taking part were The Cardiff Ardwyn Singers, Mwynion Mai Flute & Harp Duo and Len Westbrook. Entry was free but there was a collection which raised over £300 for the DEC. 20/12/2004 Young Musicians Platform - Benjamin's first performance in the Foyer at the New Wales Millennium Centre, Benjamin performed a 1/2 hour programme from his repertoire. Admission was free and he was able to sell copies of Ben Jamming.

19/12/2004 Christmas on the Waterfront - Benjamin performed a solo slot in Mwynion Mai Flute & Harp Duo's 12 Annual Christmas Concert at The Norwegian Church Arts Centre, Cardiff Bay.

08/12/2004 Friends of Velindre Hospital - Benjamin performed at this annual Fund-Raising concert along with legendary Welsh folk singer Swisann George and harpists Eluned Pierce and Eluned Scourfield at The Norwegian Church Arts Centre, Cardiff Bay.

Velindre Hospital, in Cardiff is one of the foremost hospitals in Wales involved in the treatment of cancer. The Friends of Velindre Hospital give their time and effort to raise funds to assist in the purchase of equipment and services designed to make the patients time in hospital and their subsequent treatment, easier. Friends of Velindre are a Registered Charity No.512831

BBC Children in Need. On three Saturday's in November Benjamin played his Camac Electric Harp in the show rooms of Telynau Vining Harps between 1.00pm & 5.00pm, lots of people stopped, listened and bought copies of Ben Jamming.

BBC Children in Need: National Conference of the Association of Anaesthetists - Benjamin was invited to perform for the delegates during the opening drinks reception at the CIA Cardiff. The delegates not only bought 91 CDs but also gave Benjamin a further £350 for BBC Children in Need Appeal.
Sparkle Appeal at The National Eisteddfod, Newport .Benjamin spent three days performing on the Sparkle Appeal stand at various times during the day helping to raise money for the Appeal and also selling copies of Ben Jamming.
06/07/2004 Café Charity Concert. Benjamin and a trio he plays in - Triawd Telyn Táf (Taff Harp Trio) were amongst the guest joining Café for their 3rd Annual Musical Soiree at All Saints Church, Cyncoed, Cardiff. In aid of St Edeyrn's Church Fund.
BBC Children in Need: United Reformed Church Annual General Assembly - Benjamin was invited to perform for a short while each morning of the conference to entertain the delegates before the start of each days business. Between them the delegates bought some 200 copies of Ben Jamming raising over £400 for the BBC Children in Need Appeal!

BBC Children in Need: Rolls Royce Enthusiast's Club Annual Dinner - Benjamin played before the meal and then during the meal he went around the tables selling copies of his CD. Not only did the guests buy 68 copies of his CD, they also made further cash donations to BBC Children in Need of well over £300!

Benjamin's first public performance!
02/11/2001 The Welsh Flute Trio. The trio - Jane Groves (flute), Emma Collins (flute & piccolo) and Elizabeth May (flute, alto flute & piano) invited Benjamin as a special guest for this fund raising concert in aid of Radyr Methodist Church Building Fund, also the venue. Benjamin was 5 1/2 at the time and the three pieces he performed included My Love is like a Red Red Rose which is about Grade 5 standard. The piece he would perform later that month at the Gwyl Cerdd Dant.
